Beer and Associates are delighted to announce that we have been recently appointed by Skyone Maintenance Services as Executive Architects on their new Aircraft Maintenance Hangar at Fujairah International Airport.

 

Beer & Associates, working in conjunction with MRO Facilities will provide design services to the design and construction teams.

The facility will cater for a wide range of Boeing, Airbus and wide and narrow bodied aircraft.

The structure will comprise two 90 meter wide clear span bays with the capacity to cater for two wide body or 4 narrow body aircraft at a time.

The main hangar is spanned by a steel space frame constructed from 500 tonnes of high grade steel. Workshops, stores, staff amenities and offices are provided in a 3 storey block attached to the Northern end of the main hangar structure.

Construction work is underway and it is intended to complete the new facility by mid 2013.

Congratulations to MAAS Aviation on the opening of their new Aircraft Painting Facility at the Airbus Finkenwerder Site, Hamburg, Germany. An official opening ceremony was held on the 6th of December at the new facility. The new facility is a single bay hangar and will cater for the painting of new Airbus aircraft from the A320 family. Beer & Associates are proud to have been involved in this project and thank all involved in its successful delivery.

Beer and Associates would like to congratulate everybody involved in the successful completion of the new extended state-of-the-art MRO facility at Sofia Airport.

The official opening marks the successful completion of the facility extension which started in 2011. Over the past year, three additional bays have been added to the existing two bays. Today, the expanded hangars allow for the servicing of six narrow-body aircraft in parallel and for the completion of 60 heavy checks per year.

Construction of Lufthansa Technics  new maintenance hangar at Sofia Airport, Bulgaria is progressing well on site. This photo is taken from the new observation tower and shows the new hangar alongside Lufthansa's existing facilities.

We are pleased to announce the commencement of the construction of a new painting facility for the Airbus A320 production facility at the Airbus Manufacturing Plant at Hamburg, Germany.
